Tiffany Henry Chiropractic Assistant Trainee

Tiffany was born and raised in Washington, D.C. She earned her Bachelors of Science from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in 2014, in Rehabilitation Services. Initially wanting to become an Occupational Therapist, she worked as a rehab tech/clinic assistant for 3 years in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Two of those years were spent at NRH MedStar outpatient site in Arlington, Virginia, working as a Clinic Assistant. In this position, she had the opportunity to work in the Occupational and Physical Therapy areas and worked one on one with the patients, teaching them exercises and techniques to better decrease their pain and gain overall body strength. As a result of this experience, her knowledge in dealing with all parts of the body was heightened. She also had the opportunity to work along-side Speech Therapist in the inpatient setting at her time at Woodbine Rehabilitation Center, dealing mostly with bed bound patients and those that were restricted to ventilators. Tiffany’s love for working with patients in the health care industry has been her passion as a child. Her enthusiasm for patient care and being able to make a difference in the lives of the patients she works with is very meaningful to her – her motto. “If I can help somebody as I pass along then my living shall not be in vain.” She enjoys traveling, happy hours, being with her family and friends and all other things life has to offer as she continues to learn more about healthcare and her abilities to help others. She's excited to learn and grow in her new position at Pow-Her and is looking forward to the journey it has to offer.
